Ernest Race rocking chair

Ernest Race rocking chair designed for the 1951 Festival of Britain. The chair is unique. The vintage cold bent steel frame has been shot blasted and powder coated. The upholstery is by the hugely talented Yukari Sweeny Design and was commissioned for the chair. The arms are Oak, cut from templates made off the original plans. A beautiful and totally unique piece of post war British furniture.
