Eero Saarinen Grasshopper chair for Knoll

Although Saarinen grew up with Florence Knoll, his association with Knoll only began in 1946. The Grasshopper chair was the first chair of many he designed for Knoll. The frame is made of laminated wood which was the only material and process available at the time. It continued production until 1965. This particular chair dates from the 1950's. The frame is in super condition with no damage or repairs. The upholstery is new.
